*Obituary Willie W.
W.W. Welch, 76, of 1317 Stephens, died at 11 p.m. Saturday at his home following a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Alexander-Simpson Funeral Directors.

Mr. Welch had been a Borger resident for 40 years, moving here from Antlers, Okla. He was a construction worker and had worked for Bowman-Chase for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Bertie of the home; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Jacka of Anaheim, Calif.; one brother, Lawrence of McAlester, Okla.; and three nieces, Mrs. Claude M. Harrington, Mrs. Roy Humphries and Mrs. Olen Lee all of Borger.

Bertie M. Welch, 82, 1317 Stephens, died Friday in St. Anthony's Hospital.

A retired employee of Borger Laundry, she was a native of Cleburne County, Arkansas, and a Borger resident since 1933.

She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church.

Survivors include a niece, Christine Harrington of Houston; a nephew, Larry Rider of Fritch; two sisters, Opal Loman of Arvin, Calif., Jewell McKnight of Victorville, Calif.; two brothers, Claude McCarty of Antlers, Okla., J.B. McCarty of Glen St. Mary, Fla.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, minister, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
