BORGER - Robert " Bob" Werther, 75, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2000.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. David Floyd-Harp, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mr. Werther was born in Arkansas City, Kan., and had lived in Borger for the past 50 years. He served in the Navy during World War II.
He was a plant manager for Southwestern Public Service Co. and a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church.
Mr. Werther married Virginia Poole in 1950 at Ponca City, Okla.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Darrell Werther of Enid, Okla.; a daughter, Merilee Scott of Amarillo; a brother, Earl Werther of Gallup, N.M.; four sisters, Ruby Keeter of Phoenix, Mary Ellen Valenzuela of Buena Park, Calif., and Winnie Kinslow and Dorothy Stockton, both of Arkansas City; and three grandsons.
