*Obituary
Funeral services for Johnathon Felan, age 47 of Seminole, Texas will be held Friday, August 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with Scott Shortes officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Felan was born March 12, 1974 in Altus, Oklahoma to Romelda Linda (Rodriguez) and Robert Felan. He married Esmeralda Navarro in San Antonio, Texas on July 29, 1999. He was Catholic and a member of St. James Catholic Church. He joined the Marine Corps in 1992, right out of high school, during Desert Storm. He was, at the time of his death, working as a field service tech for Chem Tech Services. Johnathon was a wonderful husband and father. He enjoyed coaching softball and was a huge fan of the Oklahoma Sooners and the New York Giants; he also loved NASCAR. He was always pranking and joking around; he wanted to be happy and laughing and didn't like being serious all the time. He loved to barbeque and made the best burgers. He enjoyed listening to classic rock and taking his family to concerts; he even taught his daughters to play poker. Johnathon was a great friend to everyone, always taking the time to make people laugh and have a good time.

Johnathon Felan passed away at Seminole Memorial Hospital on Monday, August 23, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father, his grandparents, and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Esmeralda of Seminole; three daughters, Kaymi Michelle Felan of San Angelo, Texas, and Kataryna Marie Felan and Kambree May Felan, both of the home; his mother, Linda Aquino and stepdad Casimero of Hockley, Texas; and two brothers, Robert Felan, Jr. and wife Linda of Altus, Oklahoma, and Christopher Felan of Hockley, Texas. He was a beloved brother-in-law, uncle to many nieces and nephews, a prankster and jokester to many cousins, and a loved nephew to his aunts and uncles.
