WHEELER - Benjamin Anderson, 93, died Friday, Sept. 22 , 2006, in Marina, Calif.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. in Wheeler Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Williams, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangement are by Wright Funeral Home.
Mr. Anderson was born Feb. 24, 1913, in Racine, Wis. He moved to Wheeler in 1927. He worked for Skelly-Getty Oil Co. for 38 years. Mr. Anderson was a retired geologist.
He had lived in Marina for two years and was a former resident of Midland and Indianapolis. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Midland, the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Midland Texas Rose Society.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Lucille Anderson, in October 2005.
Survivors include a son, Dr. David Anderson and wife Helen of Marina; and a granddaughter, Hope Anderson of Marina.
The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
