Linda Sue Atwood, 45 Services Friday, Feb. 8
Linda Sue Patterson Atwood, 45, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 1995.
Services were at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Helsley, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
Mrs. Atwood was born in Wheeler. She moved to Claude in 1960 and graduated from Claude High School. She returned to Wheeler in 1967. She married Riley Atwood in 1968 at Wheeler. She was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Bruce Atwood of Tyrone, Okla.; two daughters, Merinda Ray of Elk City, Okla.; and Shonda Atwood of Wheeler; her parents, Nile and Lois Patterson of Claude; two brothers, Jack Patterson of Claude and Randal Patterson of Groom; two sisters, Dyana Duman of Amarillo and Nancy Patterson of Groom; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ken Daughtry, Gary Davis, Robert Ford, Russell Gaines, Justin Rose, and Daryl Snelgrooes.
The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
