ALLISON - Donald Lee Barber, 69, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church of Allison with the Rev. Bob Mueller, former pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.

Mr. Barber served in the Navy from 1951 to 1973. He married Lavesta Megee of Allison in February 1956.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Randy Barber of Milwaukee, John Barber of Amarillo and Larry Barber of Channing; a daughter, Nena Barber of Jacksonville, Fla.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Francine Rae of Amarillo; and two brothers, J.C. Barber and Dewayne Barber, both of Perryton.

Lavesta Agnes Barber, 80, of Wheeler, died Monday, March 5, 2018, in Amarillo, Texas.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Allison First Baptist Church with Brother Bob Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler.

Lavesta was born September 19, 1937 in Wheeler, TX to John and Bessie Megee. She married Donald Lee Barber in Allison, TX, on February 24, 1956. She had been a resident of Channing, Texas for the past 12 years. She loved reading, fishing, traveling, and playing with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a member of the Channing First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Her husband, Donald; 1 sister,Bessie Mae Megee.

Survivors include her 3 sons, Randy Barber, of West bend, Wisconsin, Johnnie Barber of Allison, Texas, and Larry Barber and wife Judi of Channing, Texas; 1 daughter, Nena Barber-Rupp and wife Jennifer, of Seabeck, Washington; 1 brother, George (G.W.) Megee, of Placerville, California; 2 sisters, Fae Davis, of Owasso, Oklahoma and Arlene Scheller and husband Jack, of Amarillo, Texas.; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 1 grand-dog.

In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to BSA Hospice of the Southwest 5211 SW 9th Avenue, Suite 100, Amarillo, TX, 79106.
