Chas. Bradshaw Services Held

Charley H. Bradshaw, 65, passed away at St. Anthony Hospital in Amarillo September 24, 1971 after several months of illness.

He was born November 17, 1905 in Denton Co., Texas. Survivors include his wife, Mary of Wheeler, 3 daughters Mrs. Charlene Whitener, Merritt, Georgia, Mrs. Beverley Lewis, Azle, Texas, Mrs. Lucille Moore, Wheeler, 1 son, Clayton Bradshaw, Azle, Tx., 2 Sisters, Mrs. Ruby Pendleton, Wheeler, Mrs. Pearl Jones, Wheeler and 12 Grandchildren.

Services were held at the Wheeler Church of Christ, Sunday, September 26, at 3:00 P.M. with E .R . Carver, Amarillo, and Marion McWilliams, Wheeler officiating. Interment was in the Wheeler Cemetery with Wright Funeral home officiating.

Pall Bearers were Jay Wood; Sonny Reid, L .B . Pendleton, Lowell Pendleton, Carroll Pendleton, Charles Ray Pendleton, Nile Patterson, W .J. Patterson.

Honorary Pallbearers: Nick Steadman, Elmer Hubbard, Jake Holcomb, John Holcomb, Gravy Burgess, Lorry Finsterwald, Mel Ray Coates, and C .L . Moore.

Mary M. Bradshaw, 82, died Thursday, September 24, 1987 at Pampa.

Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, September 26 in Wheeler Church of Christ, Bill Morrison, minister, officiated. Burial was in Wheeler by Wright Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bradshaw, born in Collin County, moved to Wheeler County with her family in 1916. She was married to Charley Bradshaw in 1926 at Wheeler. He died in 1971. She was a member of Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Clayton of Fort Worth; Three daughters, Charlene Whitener of Kennesaw, GA., Beverly Lewis of Santa Fe, N.M.; and Lucille "Butch" Moore of Wheeler; three brothers, Compton Pendleton of Dumas, Ray Pendleton of Lake Oswego, Ore., and Wallace Pendleton of El Paso; a sister, Nora Patterson of Wheeler; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons: Bret Moore, Todd Moore, Wade Moore, and Lonnie Whitener.
