WHEELER - Funeral services were to be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today in the First Assembly of God Church here for Elmer Brown, 77, a resident of Wheeler for 10 years.

Officiating was to be the Rev. Keith Johnson, pastor. Burial was to be in the Wheeler Cemetery by the Wright Funeral Home.

Mr. Brown died Saturday afternoon at Parkview Hospital here.

He was a native of Minden, Neb., and came to Wheeler from Allison. A retired farmer, Mr. Brown was a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are his wife, Ruby; four sons, Dale of Perryton, Elmer of Elk City, Okla., Robert of Shattuck, Okla., and James of Panhandle; four daughters, Mrs. Pat Scott of New Carlisle, Ohio, Mrs. Nelda Babb of Wheeler, Mrs. Opal MeGee of Borger and Mrs. Brenda Tallant of Panhandle; two brothers, Glen of Ontario, Calif., and Roy of Hot Springs, Ark.; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Mabra of Reydon, Okla., and Mrs. Edna Millsap and Mrs. Ada Millsap, both of Danville, Ark., and 14 grandchildren.
