*Obituary
Walter Alvinas Carlton, 68, died Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. in St. Anthony's Hospital.

He was a retired farmer and had lived in Amarillo three years. His home was at 911 N. Mississippi.

Surviving are two sons, Johnny Carlton of Amarillo and Woody Carlton of Twitty; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Morgan of Amarillo and Mrs. Venita Mooring of Houston; a brother, J.R. Carlton of Swain, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Hailie Fay Walker of Oklahoma City and Miss Lola Carlton of Kansas City, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in Shamrock, with burial under direction of Richerson Funeral Home. Arrangements here were under direction of Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home.
