The father of Phillip W. Clepper, 934 Fannin St., died at 1 p.m. Monday in Wheeler.

Mr. and Mrs. Clepper left Abilene Saturday for Wheeler where Clepper's father was seriously ill with pneumonia.

Funeral arrangements were pending Monday night.
