Matthew T. Coberly, 14, of Hereford died Friday, Oct. 26, 1990.

Services were held at 10 a.m. today in Saint Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Joe Bixenman, pastor of San Jose Catholic Church, officiating. Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. today in Wheeler. Arrangements are by Rix Funeral Directors of Hereford.

Mr. Coberly was born in Canadian and moved to Hereford two years ago from Wheeler. He was a seventh grade student at Hereford Junior High School and attended the Catholic Church. He attended and played soccer at the Walcott School in the sixth grade.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Coberly of Hereford; a brother, Sam Coberly of the home; a sister, Jennifer Ham of Williamsburg, N.M.; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Coberly of Wheeler and Mr. and Mrs. V.E. Taylor of Dalhart; his great-grandmother, Lidie Foltz of Dalhart; and a nephew.
