Johnson Lee Chittum, 48, of Abilene died Saturday, July 25, 2015 in an Abilene hospital.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Bible Baptist Church in Clyde with Brother Larry Hooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Belle Plain Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 21015 at the funeral home.

Johnson was born August 19, 1966 in Abilene, Texas to Bobby Lee and Talitha Jane (Wofford) Chittum.

He lived in the Callahan County area most of his life, graduating from Clyde High School.

Johnson's first job was as a security guard at Wells Fargo in Abilene then he was a sergeant working for the Middleton Unit.

He then moved to Georgetown, Kentucky where he was a Deputy Sheriff.

Johnson married Wanda Jean Seacrest May 30, 2014 in Baird.

Johnson is survived by his wife Wanda of Abilene; his parents, Bobby Lee and Talitha Jane Chittum of Baird; two sons, Joshua Lee and Matthew Johnson Lee Chittum both of Kentucky; one daughter, Cheyenne Lea Chittum of Kentucky; one brother, Bobby Don Chittum and fiancé Kathlina Blanco of Baird; three sisters, Lisa Ann Coffman and husband Terry of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Teresa Jayne Wright of Baird and Michelle Annette Endy and husband Chris Scott of Florida; grandmother, Freda Colleen Allen of Baird and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Pauline Grace Chittum, grandfather, John F. Chittum and Maternal grandfather, Kenneth Johnson Wofford.
