Funeral services for Mr. Bernice Davis will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Wheeler Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

Mr. Davis died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 1994 in High Plains Baptist Hospital in Amarillo.

A native of Anatelope, Texas, he had been a Borger resident for 58 years. He was a retired serviceman with Southwestern Public Service, Western Gas and Southern Union Gas. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Isom Masonic Lodge No. 1242 and El Paso Scottih Rite and Khiva Shrine in Amarillo.

He was a World War II veteran serving in the Army in Europe.

He married Evonne Hubbard on July 15, 1951 in Wheeler.

Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Henry B. Davis of Stinnett; and Ray Davis of Borger; four sisters, Bessie Cooper of Stinnett; and Geneva Conwell of Albuquerque, N.M.

Pallbearers will be James Roberts, Marcel Poulain, Lowell Stroup, Bill Brownlee, Don Ormson, and Kenneth Deel.

Evonne Davis, 85, of Borger, died Wednesday, March 8, in North Plains Care Center in Borger.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. David Floyd-Harp, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler under the direction of Brown Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Davis was a native of Wheeler County and a Borger resident for 50 years. She was a sales representative for Avon. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church.

Se was preceded in death by her husband, Bernice Dave, on October 25, 1994.

Mrs. Davis is survived by several nieces and nephews.
