Dexter "Boog" Denham, 83, died Thursday at Pampa.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 1987 at Wheeler Cemetery. Rev. M.B. Smith of Pampa, officiated. Arrangements were made by Wright Funeral Home.

Mr. Denham, born at Sunset, moved to Wheeler County as a young man. He was a self-employed mechanic and carpenter. He was married to Opal Harris in 1927.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jim Denham of Bullhead City, Arizona, and Clifford Denham and Ray Denham, bot of Pampa; a brother, Bruce Denham of Pampa; three sisters, Garnett Gunter of Wheeler and Ruth Blanton and Birdie Faye Corbin, both of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
