WHEELER - Eunice Virgie Edwards, 94, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Wheeler Church of Christ with Bill Morrison, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler.
Mrs. Edwards was born in Miller County, Mo., and moved with her family to Wheeler in 1914. Except for a few years in Maryland, she was a longtime resident of Wheeler. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She married Gwyn Edwards in 1921 at Zybach. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1982 and by two sons, Arthur in 1957 and Ray in 1937.
Survivors include four sons, Kenneth Edwards of Pasadena, Wayne Edwards of Wheeler, Cecil Edwards of Bowie and David Edwards of Rising Sun, Md.; a daughter, Marie Gergeni of Amarillo; a brother, Tom Helton of Wheeler; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
