Mr. Francis was born on July 12, 1927 in Gageby to John Henry and Authera Francis and graduated from Briscoe High School in 1945. Cecil enlisted in the U. S. After serving his country he returned to the family farm in Gageby. Cecil married Ruby May Reid on September 4, 1949 in Wheeler. She preceded him in death on May 16, 1984. After his wife’s death, you could find him driving down the road, enjoying the countryside, and traveling to watch his grandchildren play sports. Cecil was always impeccably dressed.
