Funeral services for Joe Klattenhoff, 66, of Wolfforth will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, in Englunds Chapel with Revs. Jay Horton and Keith Wiseman officiating. Interment will be in Slaton's Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton. Joe passed from this life Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004.
He was born June 7, 1938, in Posey, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Lubbock County, graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1957. Joe married Linda J. Hill on Dec 10, 1965, in Wolfforth. He had been a cotton farmer in Hockley and Lubbock County. Joe was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lubbock and the McMillan Sunday School Class, and Pharr West Hitchhikers and Prairie Dog Sam's travel clubs.
Joe is survived by his wife, Linda of Wolfforth; son, Chris of Dallas; brother, Andy Klattenhoff of Slaton; sister, Myra Colleps of Post; and a granddaughter, Sara Klattenhoff.
