Goldie Rebecca Gordon, 68, died Thursday, June 14, 1990.
Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 17 in Mobeetie First Baptist Church. Rev. Ralph Hovey, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery at Wheeler by Wright Funeral Home.
Mrs. Godron [sic], born in Gloucester, LA., was a longtime resident of Mobeetie. She married Ernest C. Gordon in 1948 at Sanford. She was a clerk at Mobeetie Grocery Store and had worked at the Mobeetie School Cafeteria. She was a member of the Mobeetie first Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; and four sisters, Alice Ziegler of Baytown, Jo Prichard of Garden Grove, Calif., Billye Rogers of Chandler and Jean Lanham of Borger.
Pallbearers were Jeff Gordon, Joe Gordon, Robert Gordon, Michael Lanham, Ronald Lanham, and Don Schoon.
