SHAMROCK, Aug. 25 (Special.) - Monta Gossett, 48 years old, died at 8:15 o'clock Sunday night in the Shamrock Clinic and Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Gossett, who was shop foreman for the Tisdal Truck and Implement Company here prior to an illness beginning in January, had been a resident of Wheeler County for 42 years. He had lived in Shamrock for the past 30 years.

He married Miss Topsy Martin on April 21, 1928.

Besides his wife, survivors include one son, Leon, 13 years old.

Final rites will be conducted at 3:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the First Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Wheeler Cemetery, under the direction of Clay Funeral Home.
