Services for Eula Frances Hall Lancaster, 93, of Slaton will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in Slaton's First Baptist Church with Dr. Cleve Kerby, Rev. Kenneth Winchester, and Chris Downer officiating. Burial will follow in Englewood Cemetery, under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

Frances was born in Wichita County, Texas on Oct. 10, 1919. She passed from this life June 24, 2013. She moved to Pleasant Valley as a child and attended Pleasant Valley schools. Frances married Pete Lancaster on Sept. 14, 1933 in Slaton. They moved near Acuff and later to the Hackberry community where they farmed until 1991.

France's main interests were her church and family. Her hobbies while living on the arm were gardening, canning home grown fruits and vegetables, tole painting, flower arranging and crafts of all types. She also enjoyed the sport of bowling and received numerous trophies. She was a life long member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete; her parents, Ida and Jim Hall; brothers, Commer Hall, Wallace Hall, Ross Hall, Elmer Hall, and Buddy Hall; sisters, Irene Stirman and Elle May Moore; and son-in-law, Jack Biddy.

Her survivors include her daughter, Hazel Biddy of Slaton; sons, Travis Lancaster and wife Joanne, of Slaton and Curtis Lancaster and wife, Bonnie of Waco; along with eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandson.
