Guynes Child Buried Monday

Funeral services for Keith Guynes, three year old son of Mr and Mrs Hicks "Doc" Guynes, of the Dozier Community were held Monday afternoon in Wheeler, with Rev Taft Hollowny in charge.

The child died Friday night in Needles, California, while en route home with his parents after a stay of several months in California. He had been ill for two weeks with whooping cough, the same thing that caused the death of a two year old cousin, Sally Ann Finch, also from Dozier less than a month ago.

The child is a grandson of Mrs H B Guynes of Dozier. His parents are well known over this area, where they have lived for many years.

Burial was in the Wheeler Cemetery.
