Wheeler Times - October 4, 1934
Jacob Lloyd Hardy, 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hardy of Allison, died Sunday night at the Wheeler hospital, following a ruptured appendix operation.
He was born Nov. 11, 1919, at Pocasset, Okla., and died Sept. 30, 1934, at Wheeler, Texas, at the age of 14 years, 11 months and 19 days. He is survived by the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hardy, and two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Brown of Mullinville, Kans.., and Miss Pauline Hardy and a number of near relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted Monday by Rev. Alamo Starkey, assisted by Rev. J.E. Kirby, at the Wheeler Funeral home, with burial in the Wheeler cemetery.
