William Oliver [sic] (Bill) Hayhurst, 71, passed away at his home in Conway, Arkansas. He was born October 25, 1898 at Wellington, Texas.

Mr. Hayhurst was married to Effie Ruth Miller at Wheeler, Texas.

Mr. Hayhurst moved to Arkansas from Menard, Texas. He had lived in Conway for the past 22 years. He was a retired grocer.

He was a member of the Wesley United Meth. Church at Conway, Arkansas.

Survivors are his wife, Effie Ruth of the home. Three sons, Wesley, Ft. Stockton, Texas, Ed, Dallas, Dale, Memphis, Tenn. One daughter Mrs. Joe Brownfield, Waco, Two brothers, Kann, Fresno, California, John, Littlefield, Texas. Three sisters, Mrs. Herbert Jones, Modesto, Calif., Mrs. Ed Strentz, Conway, Ark., Mrs. Ebert Goad, Pampa. Eleven Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild.

The Services were Oct. 15, at 10:00 a.m. under the direction of the Pence Funeral Home of Conway, Arkansas, in the Wesley United Methodist Church, at Conway, Arkansas.

Graveside services were conducted in the Wheeler Cemetery, Friday, October 16, 1970 at 2:00 p.m. by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler, Rev. Ross Dunn, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Wheeler, officiating.

Pall Bearers were Arnold Jones, Owen Jones, Milton Liles, Bud Vanpool, Leonard Reid, Buster Callan.

Mrs. Ruth Hayhurst, 84, of Waco, died Monday, December 19, 1988 at her residence. Graveside service at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 22, 1988 at Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler, Texas.

Born Feb. 19, 1904 in Paducah, Texas. Had lived the past 15 years in Waco, Texas to be near her daughter. Member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors are 1 daughter, Mrs. Joe A. (Billie) Brownfield of Waco, TX; 3 sons, Wesley Hayhurst of Ft. Stockton, TX; Eddie Hayhurst of Oklahoma City, Okla.; Dale Hayhurst of Memphis, Tenn.; Two Sisters, Texas Landtroop of Phoenix, Ariz.; Barbara Clay of Los Angeles, CA; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
