WHEELER — Roma Brown, 93, died Sunday, April 12, 2015.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in United Pentecostal Church in Allison with Pastor Rodney Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Wheeler Cemetery. Arrangements are by Peppers Family Funeral Home of Wheeler.

Roma Brown was born Feb. 28, 1922, in McCauley to Isom Newton Brown and Lola Hancock. He attended McCauley school. Roma married Mrs. Billy June Brown on March 2, 1944, in Cheyenne, Okla.

Roma and Billy moved to Allison from Clinton, Okla., in 1990. He retired from Natural Gas Pipeline Co. as an inspector, and was a Veteran for the Army, fighting in World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his spouse; a son, Gaylon; three brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include his sons, Larry and Merlyn Brown of Allison; a daughter, Lola Fuller and husband Troy of Hugo, Okla.; three sisters, Patsy Willingham of Dallas, Betsy Thoreson of Phoenix and Pandora Burnett of Beaumont; two brothers I.N. Brown of Kirbyville and Gerhig Brown of Silsbee; eight grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

ALLISON — Billy June Brown, 88, of Allison died Wednesday, July 31, 2013, in Wheeler.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today in United Pentecostal Church in Allison with Pastor Dale Brown and Pastor F.R. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Wheeler Cemetery. Arrangements are by Peppers Family Funeral Home of Wheeler.

Mrs. Brown was born July 9, 1925, in Boonville, Ark., to Charles D. Brown and Myrtle Love Brown. She married Roma G. Brown on March 2, 1944, in Cheyenne, Okla.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Larry Brown and Merlyn Brown, both of Allison; a daughter, Lola Fuller of Hugo, Okla.; eight grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a brother, Warren G. Brown; and a sister, Opal Boydston.
