CANADIAN — Wesley "Sonny" Childress, 58, of Canadian died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in The River Ministries with Mac Purcell officiating and Daryle Perry assisting. Burial will follow in Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler. Arrangements are by Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian.
Mr. Childress was born June 3, 1954, in Liberal, Kan., to Cloris and Vera Bennett Childress. He worked as a dozer operator for Kauk Construction.
Survivors include a son, Terrin Heath Childress of Tennessee; a daughter, Chiron Childress of Tennessee; a brother, Butch Murray of Lefors; and four sisters, Carolyn Simpson of Lefors, Ann Murray of Beloit, Wis., Claudia Howard of Lindsay, Okla., and Susan Welch of Quinlan
