Funeral Held for J. Clark
Father of Mrs. Lee McCasland Is Buried Wednesday; He Had Been Resident of State 58 Years
James Clark, 81 years old, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lee McCasland at Wheeler Wednesday.
He had been a resident of Texas since 1871 when he settled in Dallas county. For the past few years he had made his home with his daughter. He was born in Paducah, Ky., March 28, 1848, and moved to Illinois with his family in 1860. He resided there until 1870 when he was married, moving to Texas the next year.
Funeral services were conducted in Wheeler Wednesday. Burial was made under the direction of Smith-Buntin Funeral Home of Shamrock.
