BENTONVILLE, Ark. - Vernon F. "Andy" Davis, 67, died Saturday, July 3, 1993 in his home.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville with Larry Branum, officiating.

Burial will be Friday in Wheeler Cemetery by Callison-Lough Funeral Directors.

He was born July 25, 1925 in Wheeler County. He was employed by the E.L. Keith Company in Borger, and moved to the Cave Springs area in 1948 with the company and was foreman for four years while building Lake Keith. He then moved to Bella Vista Resort where he was employed for the Keith Company for 14 more years. He was self-employed in the bulldozer business until his health forced retirement.

He was a World War II Army veteran serving in the European Theatre.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Troice, of the home; a son, D.A. Davis; two sisters, Geneva Conwell of Albuquerque, N.M.; and Bessie Cooper of Stinnett; three brother, J.B. Davis and Ray Davis, both of Borger and Henry Davis of Stinnett; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorials be made to an Alzheimers Caretaker.

WHEELER - Ethel Troice Davis, 82, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, in Springdale, Ark.
Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Wheeler Cemetery with Dr. Shawn Johnson, minister of Church of Christ in Wheeler, officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Home.

Mrs. Davis was born June 21, 1924, in Hollis, Okla., to Nick and Flora Overall Young. She owned a beauty salon in Bentonville for many years.

Survivors include a son, D.A. Davis of Springdale; three sisters, Daphne Berry, Una Vee McGaughy and Madell Pillers, all of Amarillo; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to the Alzheimer's Association of Western Arkansas, 320 N. Greenwood Ave., Fort Smith, AR 72901.
