*Obituary
Last rites were held at the Hunt Funeral Chapel Tuesday afternoon for Robert Harmon Douglas, 86-year-old, who passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L.C. Austin, last Monday.

Mr. Douglas had resided in Wheeler since 1920, having moved here from Oklahoma. He was born June 22, 1860, in Greenwood county, Arkansas, where he lived until he was 21 years old.

Many local people had come to know and love Mr. Douglas during his 26 year residence in Wheeler.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Zannie Douglas, and six children: J.A. Douglas of Portales, N.M., R.H. Douglas of Shamrock, R.D. Douglas of Carrizozo, N.M., A.L. Douglas of Boise, Idaho, Mrs. J.J. Emler of Shamrock, and Mrs. L.C. Austin of Wheeler. Ten grandchildren survive.

The funeral service was conducted by Rev. A.C. Wood, assisted by R.M. Litton, minister of the Wheeler Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Wheeler cemetery with Hunt Funeral Home in charge.
