WHEELER - W.E. "Bill" Ellis, 76, died Wednesday, May 16, 2001.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Wheeler Cemetery with Ken Baxter of Shamrock officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
Mr. Ellis was born on Oct. 9, 1924, in Stamford to Guy and Vida Lee Ellis. He had lived in Wheeler County the past 20 years and in Wheeler since 1996.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Ellis of Wheeler; two sons, Larry Jennings of Wheeler and Richard Ellis of Plano; a brother, Donald Ellis of Abilene; two sisters, Deanie Jones of Abilene and Jean Moore of Athens; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
