WHEELER — Joe Ellison, 78, of Wheeler died Wednesday, January 23, 2013.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church in Wheeler the Rev. Larry Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Wheeler Cemetery. Arrangements are by Peppers Family Funeral Home of Wheeler.
Mr. Ellison was born Dec. 4, 1934, in Delhi, Okla., to Dodson Bertsel Ellison and Ruth Ada Dial Ellison. He married Elizabeth Ann Brazeal on July 11, 1957, in Sanford.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Edwin Ellison of Sanger and Charles Ellison; two daughters, Nicki Calderon of Wheeler and Leslie Murray of Wink; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Ellison of Elk City, Okla., and Harold Ellison of Caddo Mills; and a sister, Sue Ellison of Sayre, Okla.
The family suggests memorials to Wheeler Nursing and Rehabilitation, P.O. Box 525, Wheeler, TX 79096.
