Boyice Andrew Farris, 84, died Wednesday, March 9, 1994.

Services were at 3 p.m. Sunday in First United Methodist Church. Rev. Warren Schoenecker, pastor, and Rev. Kerry Moore, pastor of Church of the Nazarene, officiated. Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.

Mr. Farris, born in Wheeler County, attended schools and was a lifetime resident of Wheeler County. He married Louella Oliver in Wheeler. She died in 1973. He then married Opal Smith in 1974 in Wheeler. He was a farmer and worked for 16 years for the Texas Highway Department, retiring in 1974. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Opal; a son, Kenneth Farris of Houston; two daughters, Carolyn Mulkins of Waxahachie and Sharon Gandy of Panhandle; a step-daughter, Phyllis Barber of Clinton, Okla.; a brother, Earl Farris of Wheeler; two sisters, Cordie Jones of Amarillo and Ruth Stout of San Diego; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The family request memorials be to the Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Center or First United Methodist Church.

WHEELER - Funeral services for Mrs. Louella Emily Farris, 56, of Wheeler are pending with Wright Funeral Home. She died at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday in Parkview Hospital in Wheeler.

Mrs. Farris was born at Pampa and came to Wheeler when she married in 1939.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Boyice; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Gandy, Panhandle, and Mrs. Robert Mull Mulkins, Dallas; a son, Kenneth, Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Ingram, Lynwood, Calif., and Mrs. Deecie Ellzy, Forestburg; three brothers, Keith Oliver, Hereford; Britt Oliver, Canadian, and Jack Oliver, Topeka, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
