Warren A. Funderburk, Jr., 70, died Sunday.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, 17, 1985 in First Baptist Church, Rev. Dick Hatfield of Vega officiated. Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.

Mr. Funderburk was born in Clarendon. He married Luvena Harmon in 1936 in Clovis, N.M. He was an iron worker in the construction business. He lived in Fritch from 1949 to 1977, when he moved to Wheeler. He retired in 1976. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of First Baptist Chruch [sic] of Fritch.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Gail Burney of Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, J.O. of Fort Stockton; two sisters, Lavernia Curtis of Olton and Reba Wanbaugh of California; and three granddaughters.

Pallbearers were Bill Hampton, Steve Hampton, Steve lamb [sic], N.L. Sechrist, J.R. Triplett, Don Whiteley.
