*Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Noel George, 24, of Humphreys, Oklahoma who died in Baylor hospital, Dallas, last Thursday, were conducted Friday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock from the Baptist church. Rev. Pennington of Mangum, Oklahoma officiated. Burial was in the Wheeler cemetery.

Mrs. George is survived by her husband, who is the Baptist pastor at Humphreys, their 3 months old daughter, Joy Hope; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S.A. Maxwell; two sisters, Mrs. Ellwood Shira of California, and Mrs. Tommy Hyatt of Florida; three brothers, Elmer of California; Olin, in service in Germany and Furman Ray of Wheeler; a son, Ronnie Don, preceded her in death.

Pall bearers were members of the Baptist church of Humphreys. Flower bearers included Mesdames Alvin Hampton, Charles Newton, Milton Finsterwald, Dudley Callan, Gordon Whitener, A.O. Vanpool, Dorsie Hutchins, Leo Hubble, Leon Jenkins, Misses Mary Ruth Vinson, Lucille Hutchison and Fay Voyles.

Mrs. George was born in Wheeler April 22, 1921 and graduated from the local school in '39. In August '39 she was married to Rev. Noel George and they lived in Plainview where she attended Wayland College before moving to Humphreys. She had been a member of the Baptist Church about nine years.
