*Obituary
WHEELER - Funeral services for Mrs. Alma Charlotte Hale, 72, who died on her 53rd wedding anniversary Saturday morning, will be announced by Wright Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hale married Samuel Douglas Hale on Sept. 26, 1917, in Estelline. Before moving to Wheeler, they lived in Borger, Amarillo and Shamrock.

Mrs. Hale was born in Cleburne. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Borger.

Survivors, other than her husband, include three sons, Samuel Douglas Jr., of Wheeler, John Thomas of Hobbs, N.M. and Richard Max of Floydada; two daughters, Mrs. Carroll Bolton of Beatrice, Neb., and Mrs. Jack Harris of Florence, Mont.; a brother, Cecil Richerson of Wheeler; and two sisters, Mrs. Ed Smith of Wheeler and Mrs. Stanley Green of Denver.
