James Hall Is Buried In Wheeler

James L. Hall, 53, of Allison died Friday.

The funeral was at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Sullivan, pastor, and Rev. Jerry Ralston officiating. Burial was in the Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.

He was a truck driver and farmer. Born in Tennessee, he came to Allison in 1937. He was a World War II veteran.

Survivors include the widow, Nona; four sons, Lester, Lee and Gary, all of Allison, and Terry with the U.S. Marine Corps in Cuba; a brother, Vernon of Allison; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Wallace of Sayre, Okla., Mrs. Evelyn Dukes of Allison, and Mrs. Lavelle McMillin of Tulsa, and 12 grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were Zeland Rainey, D.V. Craig, Leon Hays, Glen Elmore, Bob Horn, and Verlin Hagerman.

Honorary pallbearers were Bob Markham, Lloyd Jones, George Crow, and Clyde Vinson.
