PAMPA - Edgar Owen Hubbard, 73, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler with the Rev. Jeff Taylor, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Pampa, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Mr. Hubbard was born Sept. 1, 1932, in Wheeler to V. B. & Etta Kate Hubbard. He graduated from Wheeler High School in 1951 and received a football scholarship to West Texas State University. He received a B.S. degree from West Texas State University in 1957 where he was a member of the T-Club. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving as a medic in Germany during the Korean conflict. He was employed by Santa Fe Railway for several years in Amarillo. He was a resident of Pampa for the past 4 years, moving from Canyon where he resided for 40 years. He was a Methodist.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 brothers, Charles Hubbard and Gene Hubbard.
Survivors include three sisters, Pat Johnson and husband, Bob, of Pampa, and Kay Barnard and Jo Richards, both of Amarillo; and his two beloved companions, Foxy and Puppy.
