WHEELER - Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Annette Hunter, 53, a Wheeler resident 12 years, were scheduled at 3 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church.
The Rev. Billy J. Ferguson, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene was to officiate, assisted by the Rev. Dan Hoover, pastor of the Shamrock Church of the Nazarene.
Burial was slated in Wheeler Cemetery under direction of Wright-Denson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hunter died Tuesday night in Highland General Hospital in Pampa.
A native of Oklahoma, she came to Wheeler in 1952. She married Hoy Hunter on Dec. 24, 1931, in Sayre, Okla. She was Sunday school superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Mrs. Annette Purvis of Wheeler; sons, Larry of Oklahoma City, Troyce of Bethany, Okla., and Mendell and Villard of Wheeler; a sister, Mrs. Opal Myers of Oklahoma City; brothers, H. Purvis of Sayre, Adis and Bill of Farmington, N.M., Welthy of Corning, Calif., Dirk of Tuscon, Ariz., and Nile of Burk, S.D., and three grandchildren.
