Graveside services for Geneva Dolores Martin, 93, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m., Monday, May 4, 2009 at the Englewood Cemetery in Slaton with the Reverend Randy Holman officiating.
She passed away on May 1, 2009.
Geneva was born January 11, 1916 in Frankston to Ira and Selena Martin. She graduated from Robertson High School and Texas Tech University in 1940. Geneva was employed at Hemphill Wells Department Store for over 30 years and was involved in the advertising department, retiring in 1980.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and three brothers.
Survivors include her brothers, Winston and Herschel Martin of Lubbock; sister, Kyle Helms and Ira Lena Simmons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
