James Edward Jacquinot, 73, died Thursday, March 13th.

Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday, March 14, 1986 in Wright Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, in St. Patrick's Church at Shamrock. The Rev. Paul Sauerbier, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery.

Mr. Jacquinot, born near Walnut, Kansas, was married to Ruby Gearhart in 1945 at Garnett, Kansas. The moved to Wheeler in 1979. He was a molder at Walton Foundry at Iola, Kansas until his retirement. He was a Catholic.

Survivors include his wife; four stepsons, F.L. Gearhart of Wheeler, was raised by Jim; Murle Gearhart of Enid, Okla.; Nelson Gearhart of Turpin, Okla.; and Francis Gearhart of Lampasas; a stepdaughter, Aleene Hill of Garnett; three brothers; a sister; 15 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and two great grandchildren [sic].

Pallbearers were: Fred Gallagher, Albert Hartman, Paul Hartman, Donnie Huckert, Wayne Kuehler, and Carlos Lopez.

Ruby H. Jacquinot, 96, died Saturday, January 8, 2000. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2000 in the Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler Texas with Rev. John Valdez of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Pampa, officiating. Burial will be in the Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler, Texas by Wright Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jacquinot was born on June 15, 1903 to George and Nora Dix Anderson on a farm south of Piqua, Kansas. She grew up in the Shaw area located in Neosho county. In 1919 she married John Gearhart and they made their home in Chanute. They divorced and in 1945 she married Jim Jacquinot. They made their home in Iola, Kansas and later in Wheeler. Mr. Jacquinot preceded her in death on March 13, 1986. She returned to the Iola, Kansas area in 1992. She was member of the Catholic Church. She was also preceded in death by her son, Carl Lavern Gearhart.

Survivors include four sons; Murle Gearhart of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Nelson Gearhart of Turpin, Oklahoma, Frank Gearhart of Lampasas, Texas, and Lorrain Gearhart of Wheeler; one daughter, Aleene Hill of Garnett, Kansas; two sisters, Nellie LaRue of Chanute, Ok., Blanch of California; fifteen grandchildren, and a number of great and great-great-grandchildren.
