WHEELER - Janice Marie Johnson, 50, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 1999.
Joint services with her daughter, Tina Alley, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church in Shamrock with the Rev. James Mantooth, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church of McLean, officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Panama City, Fla., and moved to Wheeler in 1975 from Lincoln, Ill. She had previously worked in the nursery at First Baptist Church and had been employed by the Irish Inn in Shamrock.
Her first marriage was to Gordon Dale Alley in 1972 at Hattiesburg, Miss. He died in 1984. In 1985, she married Tomas Johnson at Wheeler. He died in 1988.
Survivors include a son, Daniel Alley of McLean; a daughter, Wendy Alley of Wheeler; two sisters, Velma Carpenter of Indiana and Emma Swigart of Mobeetie; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
