Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, 1994 in the First United Methodist Church. Rev. Warren Schoenecker, pastor, and Rev. M.B. Smith, a pastor from Pampa, officiated. Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jolly, born in Erath County, moved in 1926 to Wheeler County. She married W.L. Jolly in 1940 at Sayre, Okla. She owned and operated a hobby shop for 10 years in Wheeler. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Dean Jolly of Tyler and Jim Jolly of Arlington; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be to First United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
Pallbearers were Chuck Hogan, Arnold Jones, Delbert McWhorter, John Miller, Adrian Risner, Thurman Rives, Tommy Weaver, Harvey Wright.
Honorary Pallbearers were Harrison Hall, Jerry Hefley, Larry Jennings, Bob McCain, David Rarden, Bob Ware and N.D. Ware.
