Clayton C. Kelley 79 of Canyon died July 15th.
Services were held at 10:00 a.m. July 17th at the Univerisity [sic] Church of Christ with Brent Adams and Ben Shephard officiating.
Graveside rites were held in Wheeler Cemetary [sic] at 3:00 p.m. Tues. by Schooler Herring Funeral Directors.
Mr. Kelley was born near Wellington in Collingsworth County. He had been active in farming and ranching. He had been a Canyon resident 27 years moving from Borger. He was a member of the University Church of Christ. He married Annie Clay in 1928 at Wellington.
Survivors include his wife of the home and 2 daughters Joe Nell Beaty of Fairfax Virginia and Lou Ann Barnard of St. Louis, Missouri.
