WHEELER - Curtis Lee Kidwell, 89, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 1998.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church of Wheeler with Don Stone, minister of White Deer Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
Mr. Kidwell was born in Milburn, Ark. He moved to Wheeler in 1942 from Shamrock. In 1972, he retired after 35 years as maintenance construction supervisor for the Texas Highway Department. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
He married Fern Kidwell in 1932.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Betty Kreyling and Barbara Rector, both of Pampa; a son, Bud Kidwell of Plainview; a brother, Virgil Kidwell of Shamrock; a sister, Orbie Offutt of Shamrock; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
The family suggests memorials be to Wheeler Cemetery Association.
