*Obituary
Services were held September 26 at First Baptist Church of Wheeler, for Clarence O. Killingsworth who passed away Saturday in Wheeler. The Rev. Jerry Parker, pastor, and the Rev. A.G. Roberts of Lefors officiated. Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers were Mr. Killingsworth's nephews.
Mr. Killingsworth was 81. He was born in Walker County, had lived in Wheeler County for 49 years. He married Hestell Simmons in 1937 in Erick, Okla. He was a retired farmer and rancher and a member of the First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, of Wheeler, a son, Virgil Simmons of Wheeler, a daughter, Mrs. Elwanda Gille of Littleton, Colo. three brothers, Elvert, of Grimes, Okla.; Edward of Wheeler; and Rowland [sic] Killingsworth of Anaheim, California; a sister, Mrs. Blanche Smith of Mayfield, Okla.; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
