John Newton McReynolds married Sarah Elizabeth Richardson on March 7, 1883 in Gatesville, Coryell County, Texas. They had four children, Hester LaEunice, Elizabeth Gertrude, Elmer Newton, and Seth Foster. Sarah died in 1892. John married Josephine Antoinette Tomlinson on July 2, 1893 in Gunsight, Stephens County, Texas. Their children were Robert Elliot, Clifford Eugene, and Virtie Zuma.
