Funeral services for Leroy McGehee, 91, of Littlefield will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Englunds Chapel in Slaton with grandsons Phil and Chad McGehee officiating.

Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery in Slaton under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service.

He died Friday, Sept. 13, 2002.

He was born Feb. 10, 1911, in Childress. He married Jean Burnett on Dec. 12, 1936, in Lubbock. She died May 7, 2000. He lived and farmed in Lynn County in the Hackberry community for 13 years and in Gaines County for 30 years. He retired from farming and moved to Lubbock in 1978 and to Littlefield in 2001.
He was a former director of the Gaines County ASC office and the Stateline Coop Gin in Higginbotham and a member of the Church of Christ.
A daughter, Margaret, preceded in him death Dec. 1, 1938.

Services for Francis "Jean" McGehee, 80, of Lubbock will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Englunds Chapel with Danny Dow of Caprock Church of Christ officiating and Harold Carnes assisting. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.

She died Sunday, May 7, 2000, in Covenant Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 17, 1920, in Trenton. She married Leroy McGehee on Dec. 12, 1936. They lived in Lynn County for 13 years before moving to Gaines County where they resided for 30 years. She had lived in Lubbock since 1984.

She was a nurse in Gaines County and was employed by Seminole ISD as a school nurse and bus driver. She was a hospital nurse in Denver City and Hale Center. She was a member of Caprock Church of Christ in Lubbock.
