WHEELER, Sept. 23 - Funeral services for George W. Lamb, 70, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Wheeler Methodist Church with Robert Frahrn, Church of Christ minister, officiating and assisted by the Rev. Robert Ely, Methodist minister.
Burial will be in the Wheeler Cemetery under direction of the Kirk Funeral Home.
Mr. Lamb, born Sept. 19, 1892, died at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Shamrock Hospital. He was born near Stephenville and had been a farmer and rancher in the Wheeler area since 1928.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Merle Lamb of the home; two sons, T.H. of Downey, Calif., Leo of Wheeler; two daughters, Mrs. Lou Richards of Lancaster, Calif., Mrs. Virgie McCaslin of Conway, Ark.; one stepson, Pete Burton of Wheeler; three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Williams of Wheeler, Mrs. Lou Hinch of Dallas, Mrs. Violet Alexander of Amarillo.
