Funeral services were held for Carl Levitt, 64, in the First Baptist Church, Wheeler, Tuesday, April 23, 1973 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. M.B. Smith of Pampa officiating.

Mr. Levitt passed away at his home, 1104 S. Alan Bean Blvd, Saturday, April 21, 1973 after a lengthy illness.

He was born June 9, 1908 in Sailor Springs, Ill. and was married to Jaunita [sic] Bradstreet Sept. 10, 1930 in Cheyenne, Okla. He moved to the Allison area with his family in 1908. He worked for the Allison Gin for 16 years and moved to Wheeler in 1958. He was employed in the Agriculture and Stab. Comm. office in Wheeler until he retired in 1970.

Mr. Levitt was a member of the Wheeler Masonic Lodge and was a Past Master of the Masonic Lodge.

Serving as pall bearers were Elbert Zybach, Bill Atherton, W.L. Jolly, Vern Lohberger, Louis Grayson, Wayne Edwards, Albert Chapman and George Parker.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita, 6 sons, Billy Bob of Amarillo, Jerry of Amarillo, Don of Bridge City, Texas, Gene of Marseilles, Ill., Larry of Mill Valley, Calif. and Tom of Austin; 1 daughter, Shirley Cheney of Groves, Texas; his mother, Mrs. Nona Blake of Panhandle, 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

Interment was in the Wheeler cemetery under the direction of Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler.

Juanita Bradstreet Levitt, 84, died Friday, Oct. 20, 1995.

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Monday in the Wheeler Cemetery with the Rev. M.B. Smith of Pampa officiating. Arrangements were by Wright Funeral Home.

Mrs. Levitt was born in Rule, She married Carl Levitt in 1930 at Cheyenne, Okla. He died in 1973. She moved in 1958 to Wheeler from Allison and had lived in Amarillo for the past year. She was a homemaker, a Baptist and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include six sons, Bill Levitt and Jerry Levitt, both of Amarillo, Don Levitt of Orange, Gene Levitt of Yukon, Okla., Larry Levitt of Portland, Ore., and Tommy Levitt of Johnson City; a sister, Dorothy Beene of Bonham, 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
