She was a resident of Canyon Healthcare where she loved to play dominoes and bingo and was active in Grace Baptist Church, where she was a member. "Granny," as she was known by many, always loved being around her family and friends, and held dearest the memories of living on the Lewis family farm in Wheeler.

She was preceded in death by both husbands; a son, Larry in 1948; and three sisters, Arlie, LaRue and Maurine.

Survivors include two sons, Henry and wife, Sue, of Red River, N.M., and Mike and wife, Theresa, of Canyon; a brother, T.J. Cole of Wheeler; six grandchildren, Tracy Lewis Ragsdale of Canyon, Vance Lewis of Red River, Summer Lewis Rogers and Buffy Lewis, both of Amarillo, Dr. Rodney Paul Lewis of Dallas and Shane Lewis of Mertzon; and seven great-grandchildren, Reid and Ryan Ragsdale, Autumn and Addyson Rogers, Shelbie Byers, and Hank and Tate Lewis.

The family suggests memorials be to Grace Baptist Church, 2008 12th Ave., Canyon, TX 79015; or American Council for the Blind, 1155 N.W. 15th St., Suite 1004, Washington, DC 100052.
