T.C. (Tiry Clifton) Lott, 80, passed away in Parkview hospital Sept. 26, 1965 after an illness of 5 weeks.
Services were held in the First Baptist Church of Wheeler Sept. 28, 1965 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Dale Cain and Rev. Harold Perdue officiating. Burial was in the Wheeler Cemetery with Wright-Denson Funeral home in charge.
T.C. was born in 1885 in Jackson, Ohio, the son of George Washington Lott and Ela Bird Van Horn Lott. He was married to Agnes Graves in 1934 in Amarillo.
As a young man Mr. Lott moved to Perryton, Texas from Sun City, Kansas and he worked and farmed. Four girls were born to them. They moved to Wheeler in 1945 to the ranch they presently occupy. Mr. Lott retired in 1962 from active ranch work.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the First Baptist Church of Wheeler.
Survivors include his wife, Agnes of the home; four daughters, Fliptian Patterson, Wheeler, Corrina Kroeker, Oklahoma City, Okla., Ruth Edwards, Wheeler, Peggy Hunt of Pampa and Nedra Flowers, Perryton by a previous marriage; six grandchildren and he was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
